My dear friends Christy and Andy are expecting a baby boy in November, and of course I am beyond thrilled — I can’t wait to meet Little M!
Christy, who is incredibly talented and fashion forward, wanted to tackle the design of the nursery with DIY projects. She knew what style she wanted (bright colors with several shapes). Since our blog is to help those who don’t, do, I had to showcase her amazing work. Plus, she was already featured on Project Nursery (way to go C!), so this is also a congratulatory post to her. I’m so proud of you. You’re going to be such an amazing mom!
Christy’s Favorite Items:
- I love the rug, mostly because it was a project I took on with my best friend. We saved almost $200 copying one I found online. I also love the ikea chair with ikat pillow and hand knitted blanket made by my mother in law.

It’s Simple: I help those who Don't, Do. You want to be able to complete that DIY project, I help you do it. Not all of us know where to start with home decor and projects, but I help. I’m in love with stores like Home Goods, World Market, Home Depot, and Target. You can find me strolling the aisles of local flea markets, or spending hours online finding the best deal for decor. I’m excited to share my own journey with you and to hopefully provide inspiration for those seeking their personal style!
