{I Do} Chevron Curtains

I have found the most amazing site for affordable fabric. It is so amazing I am almost scared to share it! Just kidding! You’ll have to wait until the final curtains post to find out where I got the fabric though, but I wanted to share the dimensions of how to sew these draped curtains.

Here is the basic sketch. But the panels start as 108×54, and end up to be 98×52. This is for a 54in window. You always want each of the panels to be the size of the window pane space so that they drape and aren’t taught when pulled closed. You can get a pleated look without having to sew the pleats.

The sew is for a basic rod drape, the easiest way to sew curtains. Here is the final product:

Stay tuned for the living room curtains which were a bit more complex but I have some in depth instructions on how to make it easier for you, and get professional quality curtains for $200, that retail for $2,000.
