I’ve discovered there are actually cool things about having an attic in the old house you buy. At first, I was scared to go up there (yes, it’s true). But one day, when Chris was in the attic organizing boxes of junk we didn’t have room for, we were peeking around with a flash light and found a pile of old shutters. Let me assure you, from the looks of it, these shutters need some help, but nothing a little TLC won’t accomplish. So, it got me thinking of ways to use my attic discovery. (And, it has me wondering what other goodies might be hiding up there.)

I’m in love with stores like Home Goods, World Market, Home Depot, and Target. You can find me strolling the aisles of local flea markets, or spending hours online finding the best deal for decor. I’m excited to share my own journey with you and to hopefully provide inspiration for those seeking their personal style!
